Click HERE for a Printable Version.

Frozen chopped Spinach, 1 box/bag
Bell pepper chopped 1/4 cup
Green Chilli paste 1/2 - 1 tsp
Egg 1
Cheese shredded 1/2 cup
Philadelphia Cream Cheese 2 tbsp
Butter 1 stick
All purpose Flour 2 tbsp
White pepper 1 tsp
Chinese salt ½ tsp (Ajinomoto)
Whipping Cream ¼ cup
Milk 2 cups
In a skillet, melt the butter/margarine and add the flour. Let it simmer on low heat until all comes to a pasty consistency as shown below.

Now add the milk and pour along the salt, pepper, green chili paste and ajinomoto.

Now add the shredded cheese and the cream cheese.
Mix it all well and and cook on low flame until it thickens as shown in pic below.

Add the spinach along with the bell peppers and cream.

Finally, get it off the stove and pour the beaten egg and mix it in well. Now prepare a  medium sized oven-safe dish and grease it with oil. Pour the mixture and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes to an hour. Bake until it sets well and the water is mostly evaporated. Serve hot.

I don't have the picture for the finished spinach as kids were too impatient to gobble it down. Yes, its that yummy. I will try and take a picture next time I bake it. Here is of the leftovers...
