Hummus

1can(15oz) Garbanzo beans (reserve the liquid)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp chopped garlic
Salt , a pinch
Olive oil 1/2 cup
Sesame seeds 2 tsp
1/4 cup water
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground roasted Zeera (cumin)





















In a blender jug, first blend 2 tsp of sesame seeds, 1/2 cup oil , 1/4 cup water and a pinch of salt to make a smooth paste. After that, add to the blender:
One can of Chickpeas, 1/4 cup of chickpeas liquid reserve, about 5 tsp of lemon juice and 1 heaped tsp of garlic . Also add 1 tsp of paprika and 1/2 tsp of roasted ground zeera.
Then blend again till a smooth paste.
Check for salt/lemon/chick peas liquid reserve (for thickness) and add according to desired taste/consistency.
Drizzle olive oil and paprika over it before serving.
