1 Chicken, skinless and cut into 8-10 pieces
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup ready to use golden fried onions
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/2 tsp Red chili powder
Salt to taste
Almonds, Cashews and Prunes about 1/2 a cup altogether
2 large Potatoes, peeled and quartered
4-5 Eggs, boiled
Yellow food color
Add ginger, garlic , salt, chillies and turmeric to the chicken and mix well. Blenderize the yogurt and the fried onions into a fine paste.
Add the yogurt mixture to the chicken and all the nuts and the prunes.
Add a tablespoon of oil and cook on slow flame. in the meanwhile, hard-boil the eggs. Dip the potatoes in yellow color and shallow fry them until they change color and are tender. Also dip the peeled boil eggs in yellow color and lightly fry them.
Once the chicken is almost cooked, trasnfer it into an oven safe dish and all the potatoes and the eggs and pour the gravy on top.
Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes on 350.
Serve with Sheermaal, Taftaan, Kulcha or choice of bread.
