This recipe was inspired by the PW Cooks and was originally made out of beef. Chicken seems equally rewarding. Enjoy.
2 sticks butter
1 large Onion, sliced
2 cups chicken cut into strips
Seasoned salt to season the chicken
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco Sauce
Pack of Steak Rolls or Deli rolls or Sub Rolls..
Add 2 tbsp of butter and the sliced onions into a skillet and let it brown lightly.
Let it become soft and translucent and brown on the edges.
Transfer them into a plate.
Using the same skillet, add two tbsp of butter.
Add the chicken marinated in seasoned salt.
Let it cook until the pink color is gone.
Let it dry a bit while stirring on high heat.
Add a dash of Tabasco sauce.
And a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
Let it cook and let all the juices be absorbed by the chicken.
Finally add a tbsp of butter, yet again! Run another mile but don't skip the butter. This is imperative.
Let it all blend together and leave it simmering on the lightest heat setting.
Add the onions back to the skillet.
Now the works on the bread... Wipe a griddle with butter all the way. Be generous with the butter.
Put the steak rolls facing down on top of the butter.
Let it brown nice and well and flip it to warm the other side through for half a minute. Do not let it brown.
Now lay the rolls on a serving place toasted side facing up and pour the chicken on top of the bottom roll. Drizzle a tsp full of the liquid on top of the chicken. Put the other half on top.
Oh wait, it was supposed to be the other way around. well.. flip it up and take a bit. Enjoy.
