Too Much Chocolate Cake

I tried this recipe from HERE that uses Devil's food cake mix and indeed it was develish. Make this tonight and serve it warm with a scoop of Vanilla Ice cream and lots of whipped cream.

Caution: One sundae leads to another..

Jello Chocolate Pudding- 5.9 ounces, the bigger one
Devil's Food Cake mix
Sour Cream 1 cup
Mini Semi-sweet Chocolate chips 2 cups
Eggs 4
Vegetable Oil 1 cup
Warm Water 1/2 cup

Pictured below is Chocolate chunks.. I got the wrong pack out while taking the pic. Please use mini chocolate chips if possible. Otherwise you could do with the regular ones.

Pour all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Mix it well with an electric beater.

Once all mixed well, pour in the chocolate chips.

Transfer into a well greased Bundt pan.

And bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 for roughly about an hour. Insert a toothpick once the first 50 minutes are up and then take it from there. The toothpick should come out clean.


I totally forgot to mention, do make this  Satiny Chocolate Glaze to go along on your Sundae. You will send me hugs..

In a microwave safe bowl/ jug, add 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 3 tbps butter, 1 tbsp light corn syrup and few drops of Vanilla essence. Microwave it for about a minute to minute and a half until chocolate and butter is melted. Stir well with a fork and pour it over your cake.

Enjoy your 800 some calorie Sundae!! I didn't put the pictures of the Sundae here on purpose..firstly.. you will take your hugs backs.. and secondly..I didn't realize to take pictures until I was done eating....each time!
